Independence University School of Nursing

School:
Independence University

The online master’s degree program in nursing is designed to enable nurses to pursue more challenging careers in healthcare. This master’s level program combines nursing theory with the advanced practice concepts necessary to work successfully within the structure and culture of a variety of health-care organizations. The MSN curriculum consists of five (5) core courses and seven (7) advanced courses that provide specialization in one of four concentration areas: nursing administration, community health, wellness, and gerontology. This master’s degree program is part of an accelerated RN to BSN to MSN curriculum design that allows students who complete the BSN program with CCHS to shorten the time required to earn the MSN degree by completing two of the core courses as part of the BSN program. Must be a registered nurse.
