Program Description:
The Master of Science in Health Services - Community Health prepares graduates for administrative positions within the community healthcare industry. Individuals from a variety of healthcare fields enhanced career opportunities. Courses in a variety of areas are presented with a specific emphasis identifying the special needs of a community and managing programs focused on those needs.

Graduates of the Master of Science in Health Services - Community Health will demonstrate:

• Knowledge and understanding of the multiple facets of community health, including management practices, environmental and occupational health, home health, epidemiology, gerontology, women's health, program evaluation and development of health promotion programs.
• The ability to evaluate community health concepts in order to be active knowledge-makers in the field.
• Active participation and contribution as leaders in a variety of community healthcare settings
